MAKING A PURCHASE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

EU and International Orders: please ensure your delivery details are correct as any undelivered orders will be returned to the UK at your cost (which may be substantial as it will include any tax, customs duty and courier handling charges).

NEW BREXIT RULES

All orders placed from addresses outside of the United Kingdom are now sold as STRICTLY NON RETURNABLE.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

WE RECOMMEND VISITING A WIG SHOP FOR FIRST TIME BUYERS

It is almost impossible to buy a wig or hairpiece online if you are new to wigs. It is better to visit a wig shop and try a few on. This way you will be able to ascertain your head size as well as determining the most suitable style and colour. Buying online without any experience can be very frustrating.

We are an online store and not a wig shop. However, we can help by answering your questions over the telephone or by email. You will find us very friendly and willing to offer independent advice.

VERY IMPORTANT

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the Products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  • The product you ordered being unavailable from stock 
    · Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment 
    · The identification of a pricing or product description error 
    · Your failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in these Conditions

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

  • We use secure third party payment providers for all online transactions to give you maximum security.
  • We do not store any of your card information either electronically or in hard copy.
  • Your bank statement may show your payment to us as SKILLEN TRAINING LIMITED t/a VALENTINE, there is no reference to Wigs.  This is for your privacy.  We respect your confidentiality.

COOKIES 

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. FAULTY GOODS

How long do you have to return a faulty product?

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund.

This right is limited to 30 days from the date you take ownership of your product. After 30 days, you will not be entitled to a full refund if your item develops a fault.

Wigs are perishable products, even if they are not worn regularly.  Your warranty is for 30 days, we cannot repair or replace after this time.

DO NOT return a faulty product until you have received an authorisation code in advance.

Wigs claimed to be faulty are forwarded to the manufacturer’s quality control manager for inspection.  No refund will be issued unless the manufacturer agrees that the product is faulty.

The manufacturer’s decision is final.

If the manufacturer decides the wig is not faulty, there will be no refunds and the costs for return (plus customs duties in the case of international orders) must be paid for in advance.
